Reliance Jio big announcement. Now there will be free calls to all networks

All the local voice calls will be free from 1 January 2021 on behalf of Reliance Jio. 

Some time ago, Reliance Jio started taking money to talk on a number other than Jio.To make money, Reliance Jio also launched several plans through which users can buy those plans according to their number and other numbers. Talk on Reliance Jio said in a statement that as per the order of the telecom regulatory authority of India Trai, interconnect usage charges IUC are being phased out from 1 January 2021 for domestic voice calls. 

This means that the customer will not have to pay any fee to talk to another number with Jio. This does not mean that Reliance Jio consumers can use free calls without any active plan, for the facility of Internet of Free calls, customers have to recharge according to their own. After recharging, whatever charges used to talk on the second number will no longer be charged. The call from Jio to Jio was also free earlier and now if Reliance Jio will not charge any fee to talk on the network too. Reliance Jio started charging from October 2019 to talk on other networks and now telecom regulatory authority of India. Trai has interconnected usage charges. IUC is abolished.

Now it remains to be seen what changes Reliance Jio makes in its plans, whether the plans will be cheaper or more expensive than before, from January 1, 2021, customers will not have to pay any fee to talk to Reliance Jio on another network.
